TPA newsletter > TPA passed through annual TPED factory audit
On May 21st, TPA passed through the annual TPED factory audit smoothly!
Since the TPED approval last year, TPA welcomed the annual re-audit by a team consisting of members from the third-party inspection agency, SGS, during the period of May 20-21. The audit content covered raw material procurement, the complete manufacturing process for high-pressure valves (copper melting, forging, processing, assembly), and document control, including items such as project drawings, process documents, and corrective action reports. During the re-audit, the TPED team also reviewed the full procedure for the inspection of finished goods, and recognized the consistently good test results of the finished products.
Product traceability was a primary focus of the TPED factory audit. During this re-audit, the team not only witnessed the raw material in the Property Management Section, but also did random sampling in the production line in order to check if all products could be traced back to the corresponding raw material records. The auditor affirmed our good product traceability system and also put forward some suggestions on aspects such as raw material traceability and product testing. The R&D, QA, and production departments worked together to review the issues and put into place the improved solutions. Taking the TPED annual audit as a self-evaluation opportunity, the Feng An factory will further upgrade its quality control system, and strengthen the continuous product quality improvement. With safe and excellent products, TPA will continue to futher develop its global business!
Additionally, news from the “Good Deeds Department”: Mr. Tony Liu of the Australian Gas Association expressed his great thanks to the TPA staff for finding his lost wallet, after his annual audit in May. Mr. Liu spoke highly of the group culture that embodies the basic requirement of honesty in every TPA member!
